Okay so I am probably going to piss of a 1/3 of the world as I know it but I gotta say it. “I really don’t get cat people” – you know those people who have oodles of cats as pets. For that matter I don’t get those people who have oodles of dogs either or hamsters, rats, birds. Not unless you live on a farm I guess.
We had a cat growing up and a dog. And it was good and we loved the cat and dog and they loved us and we snuggled with them and played with them. But we didn’t have like 10 of each. A “menagerie” as my grandma would say.
Maybe it’s me and I’m the weird one.
With all that being said we have two dogs and a fish. And that’s plenty for me.
I would happily trade hubby for a house full of cats!!! Toss in 3 or 4 dogs as well! I could become that crazy old lady in the Ozarks. “Cat Lady of the Ozarks”! That’ll be my new handle here in the world of blog………..if I get lucky that is. How do ya’ like me now?? *smooch*
Yeah, I don’t get it either. One or two is cool, but after that the place becomes a cat’s house that some humans live in instead of vice versa. Weird…
I have a friend that pretty much has a zoo .. 1 cat, 3 dogs, 1 hamster, 2 birds, 2 guinea pigs!! Oh and 3 kids to boot. I don’t know how that man stays sane or has any money left after payday for that matter.
